Shipping containers can be effectively and beautifully re-purposed to fulfill a range of functions. From a tiny home to accommodate extra guests, to a bespoke Air B-n-B cabin, teenagers retreat, granny flat, massage space, art studio and functional home office. You’re really only limited by your imagination. Apart from being compact, they provide affordable and practical alternatives to conventional building.
Each of our shipping container homes have been designed and built by Hyde Building Co, a family owned and operated business based in Western Australia. Ryan Hyde is a qualified builder with more than 25 years building and trade experience. We are committed to quality work and each of our container homes comes with engineering certification and electrical and plumbing certification. They are super strong and easy to transport using tilt tray trucks. To optimise time and cost efficiency we’ve prepared three designs, which maximise the use of space and return on per dollar spend.
Shipping container homes tick a lot of boxes and are perfectly suited to larger properties, remote areas and/or holiday villages and caravan parks. As long as there are utilities on site or available, they are ready to go plug and play. Some of the features included are below, with a few colour options and fit-out surface options, such as benchtops and tiles. As well as offering strength in design and nature, they’re very well insulated and extend the lifespan and sustainability of the container itself.
